Being a mother of two little boys can make life fly by! The years pass by quickly, a few pounds gained here and there. Too much pizza and late night snacking began to catch up to me! Then before I knew it I was the heaviest I had ever been! Sound familiar to anyone?
I decided I needed to make a change three years ago when a friend asked my husband and I to complete a Full Tough Mudder the following year. I thought to myself, " I've been an athlete my whole life, sure why not? I can do this!" I quickly realized after attending a few group training sessions that I was not ready for this 10 mile, 20 0bstacle race through the mud!
That's when I discovered keto. The low carb, high fat diet that was becoming rather popular. With nothing left to lose (besides the weight I had gained!) I jumped on board!
With every pound that came off I became more and more excited. But not only did I notice a difference in the scale, I noticed a change in me. I had energy that I didn't have before! I had a new found passion for my own personal growth.
This is my why, this is the reason I started Kedough. I want to provide others with that same energy, that same passion for growth! If this momma of two can do it, I know you can. Kedough just makes it a little easier for you to crush the goals you set for yourself.
I encourage you to look for your WHY. Are you doing low carb for your children? To feel sexy in that bathing suit? or to lose the dad bod? Once you know your WHY you can then pursue your HOW!
I completed that Tough Mudder and made it to my goal weight! I would like to share some before and after photos below with you guys. I hope they are an encouragement to someone. It's possible to achieve your goals, you just have to want it. The only person stopping you is looking back at you in the mirror.
